A new Festival in the making

2009 has been one of the busiest years in the short history of our Festival, both in programming and in politics!  We presented an outstanding festival earlier this year and have been very busy preparing the ground for an even more exciting and adventurous programme in March 2011.  Our Artistic Director David Malacari continues to meet with some uniquely brilliant and creative artists, representing many cultural perspectives from around the world, to bring you their dedicated practice of art making and performance theatre in 2011.

The 2011 Auckland Festival programme will be available late 2010. Sign up to our e-newsletter to stay in the loop.

Watch This Space - The Arrival

We are particularly thrilled with the success of Red Leap Theatre’s The Arrival, which is going to Sydney Festival in January before travelling on to Wellington and Hong Kong in March.
